About Global Regulatory Monitor

Pharmaceutical GMP and quality regulation in one place.

Global Regulatory Monitor is a free information service covering GMP and quality regulatory developments for medicinal products, in Korea and abroad.
Built on documents that regulators publish, it offers a weekly brief, inspection information and search tools, in Korean and English.

What it provides

  • Weekly brief The week's main regulatory news, gathered and published every Monday morning.
  • Inspection findings and regulatory trends Inspection findings and related material, organised so the main issues are easy to look through.
  • Search and working tools Company, inspector and document lookup, and a self-inspection checklist.

How it is run

All content is built from material published by regulators and comparable bodies.
Collection, summarising, translation and publishing are automated, and generative AI is used for the summaries and translations.

Every item carries a link to its source document, so the origin and the details can be checked.

Editorial principles

  • The source document governs. A summary is there to convey the main points quickly. For the exact requirement and its scope, the page points to the original.
  • Summary and added commentary are separated. What summarises the source and what AI adds as commentary are marked apart.
  • AI use is stated. Content produced with AI says so.

Who makes it

I work in pharmaceutical quality assurance, and I build the tools and automation my own work needs.
Global Regulatory Monitor came out of that, and I design, build and run it so regulatory information is easier to find and use.
