Details
Metadata explains by whom, when, and by what method and settings a result was produced, so it is part of the original record. Inspections cite retention of the result PDF alone, with injection sequence, method version, processing history, and audit trail omitted so that the activity cannot be reconstructed. Check the original electronic files, audit trails, methods and sequences, user and time information, and the scope of retention and transfer.
